SBA’s Kay Young Scholarship is designed to assist accomplished law students to attend the annual Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair, organized by the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association. The scholarship is named in honor of the late Kay Young, an SBA board member and accomplished attorney who passed away in 2007.

Lavender Law provides attendees with fantastic exposure to LGBTQ legal issues and gives students the opportunity to meet with more than 170 recruiters from law firms, government agencies, and non-profit organizations across the nation.
